Taree High School is after a heifer to raise as a breeder to add to our Show Team. Last year Tralin Stud generously donated two young steers, which are much adored by the students who train and show them. N.S.W. North Coast National, Lismore Show Grounds 17th to 19th October 2013. N.S.W. biggest rural cattle show is helping to promote small breeds of cattle by introducing a Small Breeds Interbreed to the show. Cole Glen Stud went to Toowoomba Show last week, a great time was had by all, we placed well with 2 Reserve Champions in Cole Glen Quade and Cole Glen Hannah, and a second in Breeders Group. For the first time we also took our Bramalow Bull (Brahman x Lowline) along, who got Grand Champion Bramalow Bull. Royal Toowoomba Show was held from the 11th to the 14th April. Six studs exhibited Lowlines. David Wooler won Champion Female with his cow Merowen Feebee and also cutest and most photographed calf on the showgrounds! Tanya and Kenneth Falkenhagen won Champion Bull with Tanview Fair Dinkum and followed that with winning the Small Breeds Interbreed Champion Bull for the second consecutive year with the same bull!
